Fertile Hump is a new band from members of The Stubs and Test Prints. Their debut EP will be released on November 30th via Instant Classic and Long Walk Records.
It all started in a kitchen where Tomek and Magda began singing songs. – We live together and Fertile Hump started on one such night. When Instant Classic and Long Walk Records decided to release our songs, it dawned on us that the drums won’t play itself so we asked Maciek to join us. He’s a great guy – explains Tomek.
The EP consists of four songs, somehow raw (as in garage rock) and
somehow bluesy (as in oldschool blues). – The lyrics in a way reflect our lives and different stories that happen to us. It’s not a confession.
More of a commentary – says band’s vocalist, Magda.
What’s promising is that Fertile Hump shouldn’t be treated as a side
project. – We really want to play live. At this point we’re also writing new songs, there are a couple of gigs scheduled and I know for sure that you won’t forget about us soon – adds Maciek (drums).
